Hi,
One of the properties of the standard iPad calendar tool that really annoys me, is that it only shows 4 or 5 appointments in a day cell in month view. When there are more appointments, there is no visual clue that there are, and there seems to be no way to get a full list of appointments except for switching to another view. As a reference, Business Calendar on Android gives a full list of appointments when clicking the day cell.
Does anyone know better clients on iPad that cooperate with a DAViCal server?

Hi Johan,
there is no real CalDAV alternative for iOS. All "calendar" apps use the same CalDAV backend (what may/may not be a problem).
If you choose an alternative calendar app, you get the same CalDAV functionality (maybe except the push notification - I am not sure).
So you may find a much better interface, but certain functionality may be limited (read the app description/app review carefully).
Cheers,
JM

I didn't receive any suggestions so far, apparently everyone here is happy with the standard iPad tool, or not using iDevices at all. I'll continue my search elsewhere. If I find something I'll let you know.

Hello Johan,
as Ján previously said, the base of all iOS calendar apps are the standard core of iOS. The apps only give a different view to the data, some extend functionality locally on the iPhone.
I'm very happy with miCal ("the missing calendar") as it has a nice and very functional interface and many different views. It supports categories, but these are only stored locally and not synced via DAVical or other caldav providers. It supports reminders too.
An other nice app i know is Calendar 5, but for me the interface isn't so intentional like miCal. The functionality is similar.
As always in life, it's a kind of personal preferences.
Best regards,
Rudolf Graf von Roit zu Hoya
