404 error when using radicale and CalDavZAP together [SOLVED]

Hello everyone, If you're trying to use CalDavZAP on the (web) client side, and radicale on the server side, you might have encountered a 404 error on CalDavZAP web console. I've been stuck on this problem an entire evening and I finally found the error. Don't forget to enable CORS (cross-origin resource sharing : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-origin_resource_sharing ) on the radicale configuration so that CalDavZAP can access the radicale resources even if they are not available on the same domain. This is simply done by adding the following configuration at the end of the radicale configuration file : extract from /etc/radicale/config : [...] # Additional HTTP headers [headers] Access-Control-Allow-Origin = * Access-Control-Allow-Methods = GET, POST, OPTIONS, PROPFIND, PROPPATCH, REPORT, PUT, MOVE, DELETE, LOCK, UNLOCK, HEAD, MKCALENDAR, MKCOL Access-Control-Allow-Headers = User-Agent, Authorization, Content-type, Depth, If-match, If-None-Match, Lock-Token, Timeout, Destination, Overwrite, X-client, X-Requested-With Access-Control-Expose-Headers = Etag [...] You can also restrict "*" to a more resrtictive list of domains. CardDAVmate: vCard not conformant

Hi, After migrating DAViCal to another server, I keep getting a 'vCard is not conformant to RFC 2426' error on every entry in my addresses database. New entries initially appear correctly, but after a short while (30 secs?) the entry on the screen is replaced with the same non-conformant error message. Any ideas what can cause this? I copied (via SQL export / import) the database from the old server to the new server so the contents is the same. A difference in software versions (apache, php, davical, postgresql)? CalDAVzap is working fine in the same setup. -- Johan

CalDAVzap: Default calendar

I use CalDAVzap with a list of calendars. In my config.js, I have: var globalCalendarSelected='jv/default/'; So I expect this calendar to be selected by default. However, CalDAVzap still selects the first available calendar instead. This happens with FireFox and Chrome. Do I misunderstand the purpose of globalCalendarSelected? -- Johan

I have DAViCal and CalDAVzap installed on my workstation. Assume the hostname of the workstation is 'ws.mydomain.com'. I have a CNAME 'davical.mydomain.com'. The system is running Fedora 17, with apache 2.2.23. 'davical.mydomain.com' is configured as a virtual host: <VirtualHost *:80 > DocumentRoot /usr/share/davical/htdocs DirectoryIndex index.php index.html ServerName davical.mydomain.com Alias /images/ /usr/share/davical/htdocs/images/ <Directory /usr/share/davical/htdocs/> AllowOverride None Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> AcceptPathInfo On </VirtualHost> In the CalDAVzap config, I use the following settings: var globalNetworkCheckSettings = undefined; var globalAccountSettings = [ { href: 'http://davical.mydomain.com/caldav.php/jv/', hrefLabel: null, crossDomain: true, forceReadOnly: null, withCredentials: true, showHeader: true, userAuth: { userName: 'jv', userPassword: '******' }, syncInterval: 60000, timeOut: 30000, lockTimeOut: 10000, delegation: false, // CalDAVzap specific. settingsAccount: true, ignoreAlarms: false, backgroundCalendars: [] } ]; CalDAVzap is accesed via an alias in the httpd.conf: Alias /caldavzap /home/jv/wrk/CalDAVzap/caldavzap This works great as long as I use http://davical.mydomain.com/caldavzap/ (which surprises me -- I'd expect a virtual host to take precedence over an alias) But it doesn't work if I use http://ws.mydomain.com/caldavzap/ which is the way I'd want it to work, in particular since I need to move davical to a separate server. Hi list, sorry for the long silence, but better later than never :-) CalDavZAP 0.10.0rc4 available: demo: http://www.inf-it.com/caldavzap-new/ download: http://www.inf-it.com/CalDavZAP_0.10.0rc4.zip This release contains few minor changes, a ton of bug fixes + performance improvements and it is the latest RC before the final release (there are no known bugs, except some untranslated strings). The public release is coming very soon (immediately after the finished translations). JM

Normal installation problem

Hello, I'm using CalDavZAP for some time. I tried to install it to example.com/calendar but that didn't work so I just moved whole folder into example.com/davical and it worked. Problem with this setup is that I have to go to example.com/davical/calendar and that isn't looking that good, so I tried again configuring href value. Still, no success. I'm looking Apache error logs and this is why I can't log in: script '/home/user/www/caldav.php' not found or unable to stat, referer: https://example.com/calendar/ My document root is /home/user/www, but caldav.php is located in /home/user/www/davical/ directory. For some reason, url is rewritten, but I don't see why. htaccess for davical directory is empty and some other CalDAV web clients don't have this problem. This is my globalAccountSettings from config.js: var globalAccountSettings=[{href: 'https://example.com/davical/caldav.php/USERNAME/', hrefLabel: null, crossDomain: null, forceReadOnly: null, withCredentials: false, showHeader: true, settingsAccount: true, checkContentType: true, userAuth: {userName: 'USERNAME', userPassword: 'PASSWORD'}, syncInterval: 60000, timeOut: 30000, lockTimeOut: 10000, delegation: false, ignoreAlarms: false, backgroundCalendars: []}]; Any idea why this is happenning? Calendar Sharing?

Hi, Goal; 1) I need a generic calendar that people can view read only. 2) administration account that has the ability to create/edit the calendar events. Progress; I created a calendar principal in DaviCAL and called it "MeetingRoom". Then I created a number of "Principal Collections" and named them after the managers. Set a password for the MeetingRoom principal and when logging in to caldavzap it works perfectly with just a couple restrictions. 1) couldn't work how how to disable write access for the MeetingRoom login. 2) How to give a separate "admin" principal account access to the resource. Any advice? P.S: Sorry if this is a easy question, I just couldn't find a lot of doco on the DaviCAL website. cya Craig

Caldavzap 0.9.1.2 (I must have missed something?)

Hi Support, I've just extracted the Caldavzap 0.9.1.2 and are attempting to get it running on Apache, these are the errors I'm finding. note-1: caldavzap 0.7.0 has been working fine. note-2: I looked around for "jquery-ui-1.9.1.custom.min.js" and I don't see it in the downloaded zip anywhere, but it was in the old 0.7.0. Baikal server + caldavzap

Hello, I'm using Baikal as a caldav server successfully with thunderbird/lightning where the calendar address is set to http://my.server.com/cal.php/calendars/myname/default My problem is when I want to start using caldavzap. I cannot figure out, how to set values in config.js - when I try to login the login screen appears again. Can somebody point me, how I can debug login access with caldavzap? Maybe some logging in apache? I already tried http://my.server.com/cal.php/principals/ as a href in config.js with no success. Thanks in advance
