I just tried the demos out for a few minutes, to get a feel for the new UI changes you mentioned in CardDavMate. I must say that I like the idea of an optional list style that gives a quick look at the most needed information (as an alternate view). Being able to switch between the traditional VCard view and the new list view is good. In general I like the UI for CardDavMate and I think this sort of addition is a real positive feature. If I could get everything my way, I would alter the model just a bit. When I see the list view I immediately think I'd like it to be full screen width. It seems to me that the information this view contains is the same information that the VCard pane displays and as such should replace the VCard view while active. Full screen width would also make the list view more readable and therefor more useful. Dragable column widths would be a great feature as well, maybe for a future release :-). Whatever you decide to do, I'm thinking other users will have ideas of their own, this is a good change and will add to the overall usability of CardDavMate. I appreciate your continual improvements to this software suit and plan on using it for many years to come. Thank you for this sneak preview and for the opportunity to express my ideas. Gary

Thanks for the confirmation. I'd really appreciate using distinct numbers for distinct (pre)releases, even though 42 is the ultimate answer. I'd also like to repeat my request for adding the version number to the window title, or make an 'about' button or something similar, so it is possible to know/see/find out what version is actually running.

Hi Rudolf, unfortunately it's a bug in RRULE.js so we cannot fix it. I've reported it to Jakub Roztočil (RRULE.js main developer), so we need to wait for a fix (it is really special case, and is related to not selected month in the custom yearly repeat). Even if RRULE.js is not 100% perfect, it's much better than our old custom library, so I have no plan to remove it from the upcoming release (even if that bug will be present). I hope that we get a fix really soon, but I cannot guarantee that. Cheers, JM

If I could get everything my way, I would alter the model just a bit. When I see the list view I immediately think I'd like it to be full screen width. It seems to me that the information this view contains is the same information that the VCard pane displays and as such should replace the VCard view while active. Full screen width would also make the list view more readable and therefor more useful. Dragable column widths would be a great feature as well, maybe for a future release :-).

Whatever you decide to do, I'm thinking other users will have ideas of their own, this is a good change and will add to the overall usability of CardDavMate. I appreciate your continual improvements to this software suit and plan on using it for many years to come. Thank you for this sneak preview and for the opportunity to express my ideas.
