Hi Mate,
2 short Questions:
*Is there a way to enable the drag-n-drop feature in CardDavMATE also from readonly - addressbooks?
*Is there also a way to copy a contact from one to an another addressbook instead of moving them (like in Thunderbird Adrbook with holding the strg/ctrl - key)?
thx gil
Hi Gil,
these questions are interrelated ...
b.) no, currently there is no support for COPY operation/HTTP request (it is already on my todo list, but with low priority) a.) because the only supported operation is MOVE you need write privilege to both source and also destination collection ... so if the collection is read-only there is no reason to allow drag&drop (the MOVE HTTP request will not work on read-only collection)

well - when you try to bring caldav/Carddav running on Windows/Thunderbird/SoGo the you qould think different...;)
In my case i try to fill different r/w addressbooks out of an "master" readonly addressbook... unfortunatly(1) Thunderbird/SoGo does not copy all VCard3.0 fields and unfortunatly(2) right now there is no Windows Client which supports Apple/Carddav Mailinglist...;(
