CardDavMATE 0.12.0-rc2 available (note: the internal version is still 0.11.42).
In this version (and also in the latest CalDavZAP /0.11.1/ - even if I forgot to mention it in the changelog) we added a Shift+click option which selects the clicked collection and unselects all other collections (this functionality is very close to the previous version of CardDavMATE where always only one collection was loaded at a time). We also fixed lot of minor bugs in the previous rc ...

Couple of observations (some bugs, some just feature requests with no urgency, other personal taste)
* Already disliked the grey color (e0e0e0) for the field names which are shown when nothing is yet entered. On my monitors this is hardly visible. * I would appreciate if field names will be shown when hovering over a field. When it is filled, it is not always clear what it stands for * When I want to delete a vcard, I first need to press "Edit". This is not intuitive and also increases number of clicks. Why not putting a "Delete" button next to the "Edit"? * When editing a contact: If I want to move to another addressbook, the drop down at the very top of a vcard does not work. (without error message). Could not yet figure out what is so specific about those. * I would appreciate if "FN" field is directly editable. I like the new user interface. The color coding for different address books is great.

if we get more request for darker color we can change it

yes, the current state is not ideal but it is much better than a one click delete (I don't want a popup with a "delete question") ... if we find a better way we will implement it

collection and group add/edit/delete operations are currently not supported, but these are already in our todo list

it is really hard to say where is the problem ... can you create a demo installation and send me a private e-mail with username/password and the steps to reproduce this bug?

sorry, but I have no plan to add support for the FN attribute editing because it may introduce more problems than it solves

phonetic entries are very important for corporate addressbooks if you work with people from different countries (lot of people requested these fields in past)

yes we know about this and we are already working on more "elegant" solution (even if it will not allow direct column resize)
