We NEVER tested CalDavZAP with other servers than DAViCal. Support for additional servers will be added in future. Adding support for new servers usually require only small fixes (and lot of testing), but currently we are more feature-oriented (so it is not surprise that CalDavZAP not works with Baikal) ...
I do of course understand that. It's just that strange Chrome : yes / Firefox : no aspect that puzzles me - I assumed browser-dependent behavior was not a desirable thing (and of course I hoped I might have overlooked something that was obvious to others)... :)
the problem is, that we are "dancing on the edge" with our software clients (there are ton of limitations in browsers and we need workarounds for all of them). Nearly everybody told me that it is impossible to create JavaScript-only software for such complex tasks as CardDAV/CalDAV ......... but ...... cite: "they didn't know it was impossible so they did it" :-)))
