Hi,
I never tested it using subscribed calendars only. The primary functionality is "CalDAV client", the subscribed calendars functionality was added much later - and I don't think that it will work (without a configured CalDAV account).
I understand. Nevertheless, it is a great secondary raison d'être of Caldavzap. Two ways of approaching this come to mind.
The first is to create a read-only CalDAV account with empty calendar that will never be filled with any events. For that account in Caldavzap, subscribe to several ICS calendars.
The second is to implement support for an account that has no username and no password and immediately bypasses logging. Users will see the subscribed calenders but none of the CalDAV functionality will be used.
I am willing to test out the first approach and hope that it can be added to the documentation when it works successfully. Is that OK?
For the second approach, I need someone familiar with Caldavzap to help implement it. Is there anyone interested in this?

Hi all,
How can I use Caldavzap with only subscribed (read-only) calendars with no connection to a CalDAV url?
Is this a new feature or can I get this to work by using the configuration in a certain way?
Thanks,
