Hi, sorry but it is completely wrong idea. The client is "running" only if your browser window/tab is open and you are logged in. So in general it cannot send you e-mail notifications. Even if you keep your browser always open (and you will be logged in) it is extremely problematic to send e-mail directly from JavaScript. It requires web sockets and also a complete JavaScript SMTP client implementation (extreme amount of work). In short: server is the correct place to generate notifications (because it is always running). Cheers, JM
