Hi Jan. I am not sure if this is related, but now (after upgrading to 0.13.1 and performing cache_update.sh) I have another problem - when I am editing contact in Infcloud and changing picture and than synchronizing my android phone (with Davdroid) the picture does not show on android phone in contacts though it shows in Infcloud. I have also tried others sync clients for Android (CardDAV-Sync free) with no luck. I have also tried to download .vcf file from the server and open it in outlook - the one updated from Android shows the picture and the one updated from Infcloud - not. I have also noticed picture is stored in png format by Infcloud and in jpg format by Android (I have opened .vcf files with Notepad++). I have attached both .vcf files. Any advise? Configuration problem with Caldavzap

Hello List! I have been trying to use Caldavzap but so far without success. I have a Radicale server which I want to access. Server is running fine, access with Clients like Mozilla Lightning, Outlook or CalDavSync works fine. Server access is with a ProxyPass in Apache config. I decided to use globalAccountSettings. Originally, the server's adress was http://calendar.wanderreitkarte.de/beide/calendar.ics, so I set config.js to var globalAccountSettings=[ { href: 'http://calendar.wanderreitkarte.de/beide/', userAuth: { userName: 'beide', userPassword: 'myPassword' } } ]; Caldav I put onto a different subdomain. This produced cross-domain problems. As I did not find a way to make Radicale allow the cross-domain access, I moved the caldav server one folder down to http://calendar.wanderreitkarte.de/radicale/beide/calendar.ics/ and put CaldavZap on top level of the same subdomain. Now my settings read var globalAccountSettings=[ { href: 'http://calendar.wanderreitkarte.de/radicale/beide/', userAuth: { userName: 'beide', userPassword: 'myPassword' } } ]; I have changed cache.manifest multiple times and I did get the message that a newer version was available and reloaded the page. Hi. I have just installed InfCloud version 0.13.0 on new server (cache_update.sh executed) together with Davical. Now when I am adding a new contact with picture after pushing Save button the picture is blank (no picture shown) though it shows "Contact saved successfully". Than after some time it shows "The contact on the server was changed and reloaded" and displays contact's picture as it should. The same happens when contact is edited. Any advice? Vasyl

Remembering passwords and a strange bug

Dear group, I'm using the nice new infcloud 0.13.0. Is it possible to have the browser save the login user name and password? (This doesn't work, i.e., I'm not prompted to save this info, using Chrome and Firefox.) I encountered the following strange bug: twice now already, the note field of some calendar event I had looked at replaced the note field of all contacts, *in the interface*. Reloading (Ctrl-R) fixed this, so the underlying data was not changed (luckily). The second time this happened was after a restart of my computer, without having looked at the calendar even in question in that session! Any ideas about this? (I find this a bit scary, as data loss seems just a save operation away.) Best, Erik

Visual discrimination of statuses

Hi all, Events with Status = CANCELLED are shown with striked out title. This is great, because cancelled events are immediately visible without having to hover the mouse over the event to see its status. Is it possible to have a similar functionality for TENTATIVE and CONFIRMED? For example, using a background color gradient for TENTATIVE, or bold font for CONFIRMED, or different frame line thicknesses, or such. This would be really helpful. With best regards Heiko Stegmann

[CalDavZap]Time difference at event creation with the new version

Hi, I juste updraded to the new version of caldavzap and now, but maybe there is no relationship, I've a little difference in time when I want to create a new event : For example, on week view I clic on the time interval between 10 and 10:30 to create an event starting at 10, but the area that is greyed is the area 30' later, between 10:30 and 11 and then a window opens with a new event starting at 10:30. I didn't had this before. I'm using caldavzap with windows 7 and firefox 40.0.3 thanks a lot Antonio

'Planning view' of events in month and multiWeek view

Dear all, is there a way to display calendar events in the month and multiWeek views in kind of a planning view? With 'planning view' I mean keeping calendar events that belong to the same calendar in the same row, instead of stacking them in alphanumerical order of the calendars. Example: Standard view Mon Tue Wed etc. Cal1 Event1 Cal1 Event2 Cal1 Event3 Cal2 Event1 Cal3 Event3 Cal2 Event2 Cal3 Event1 Cal3 Event4 Cal3 Event2 Planning view Mon Tue Wed etc. Cal1 Event1 Cal1 Event2 Cal1 Event3 Cal2 Event1 - Cal2 Event2 Cal3 Event1 Event2 Cal3 Event3 Cal3 Event4 Such a view would make it possible to grasp, for instance, resource utilization much quicker than in the standard month and multiWeek views. Hi list & others, because we found lot of bugs and also added few new features, I decided to change the next version numbers from 0.12.2 to 0.13.0. The 0.13.0 is the latest pre-release, and if nobody reports any bugs in 48 hours it will be released as the final version. Empty page with caldavzap

When I connect, to my https://davical.server/caldavzap/index.html the page seems empty. It is not and if I key in Enter key, login dialog appears, then calendars appear. But I can no more edit the calendar : add modify or delete event. The same problem appears with carddavmate. The same problem appears on other html clients, it is a server problem, not client problem. It has worked very fine during weeks, and I do not see what I may have changed on the server. In fact, I do not remind having changed something... Any tip? Thank you.

Changing contact name in CloudInf loops script

CloudInf 0.12.1.42 Davical Hello, i just tried to change the sirname of an existing contact. After clicking on "Save" i get an "script loops" error in firefox. Clicking on "debug script" stops the script at line 5451 5451 while(lineRe.test(vCardText)) { 5452 vCardText=vCardText.replace(/^(.{75})(.+)/m, '$1\r\n $2'); 5453 } Contact isn't changed. Default Timezone?

Hello Ján, I'm sorry, but your installation instructions aren't working for me at all :( According to https://www.inf-it.com/infcloud/readme.txt my server origin and client installation origin *are* the same. It did not work. Then I tried the example above it, setting the href to point to where caldav.php really is. No joy. This particular server was originally just a mail server, so DocumentRoot points to SquirrelMail. When I added DAViCal, I did Alias /cal/ /usr/share/davical/htdocs/ <Directory /usr/share/davical/htdocs/> AllowOverride None Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> And users go to https://mail.example.com/cal/caldav.php/username/calendar Which works just fine. Adding Alias /infcloud/ /usr/share/davical/infcloud/ <Directory /usr/share/davical/infcloud/> AllowOverride None Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> Allows https://mail.example.com/infcloud/ to get to the login screen, but logins result in script '/usr/share/squirrelmail/caldav.php' not found or unable to stat, referer: https://mail.example.com/infcloud/ in the error.log and Info: [globalNetworkCheckSettings: 'https://mail.example.com/caldav.php/']: crossDomain set to: 'false' Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) In the JavaScript console (Chrome). As regards the readme.txt Item 2 doesn't really *clearly* explain what is cross-domain and what is not. It gives examples, but does not clearly note which is which. At least not to *me*. In config.js The comment lines really badly need to be wrapped. I've currently got an xterm window blown out to 237 columns wide, and it's still not wide enough. Makes reading the thing very difficult. For me, anyway. Near one example it suggests that, for cross-domain setups (which I'm still not certain I have or not): misc/config_davical.txt. Empty address books from owncloud CardDav using CardDavMate

Hi, I have set up CardDavMate to connect to my ownCloud Server for testing purposes. It is set up on the same domain using a static setup. I get a list of address books OK but the address books show up as empty and I get these errors on the browser debug console: REPORT XHR https://mydomain.com/remote.php/carddav/addressbooks/1f58a300-382a-1032-88a… [HTTP/1.1 415 Unsupported Media Type 170ms] "Error: [CardDAVnetLoadCollection: 'REPORT https://mydomain.com/remote.php/carddav/addressbooks/1f58a300-382a-1032-88a…'] code: '415' status: 'error'" Any ideas please? Any chance of getting a "undelete" feature?

Hi Jan, just tried your 0.12.2rc versions - they look great ;) Is there a way that in the future there will be a kind of an "undelete" option - especially when you delete a contact there is probably a lot of information lost in just one click. I think about an undelete feature which works during the actual session - and an optional "are you shure" - question when you delete something would also be very nice. infCloud : moving an item from a todolist to another

Hello again everyone, I'm still using infCloud and I'm starting to use the todo list feature. The backend is radicale v0.10. What I'm trying to do is moving an item from a todolist to another. To do this, I start to edit an item and I then change the attached collection. I then click on save. infCloud starts by telling me the this is forbidden by a short red error message that dissapear after one or two seconds. I can see the following log message in radicale : 2015-04-15 11:17:53,170 - INFO: MOVE request at /myuser/myuser/4bdfb6dd156c9f1ee9b76cd00292e423a124bf9745cb7cfa06dce46fb2bddbfa.ics received As the message disappear and nothing else happens, I can click on save once again. This time the item is correctly saved in the new collection, but not deleted from the previous one. I can see the following log message in radicale : 2015-04-15 11:18:03,233 - INFO: PUT request at /myuser/myuser/91621edeff8ef3cdc4f49203d4e78f1e2e23c61fac87893b812ad3ba0e891722.ics received What I can infer is that infCloud has a sort of fallback mode that replace the MOVE verb by a simple PUT. Could it be a bug in infCloud ? Could it be radicale that does not support the MOVE verb ? Thanks for your answer...

Hi, I'm using the latest version of InfCloud, running under Debian 8. I'd like to change the month view of the calendar to start on Sunday (as well as the date picker). I've changed the these two settings in config.js: var globalDatepickerFirstDayOfWeek=0; var globalWeekendDays=[0, 6]; I then ran cache_update.sh and reloaded the calendar using Firefox v39. The week still starts on Monday as does the date picker. Is there a way to get the month to start on Sunday? TIA Gary

Hello again, I had some todo that was disappearing from my todo list. I found some interesting informations in my browser's console : "Error: 'https://user@server/dav/user/collection/f5a5c92f3c57cb650e3c946b7a4d4671548…': unable to parse vTodo" How can I check the reason of this parsing error ? The item has been created by infCloud. The backend is still radicale. Other items are working perfectly.

Hi all, I stumbled over an event in our calendar that uses a currently unsupported rule: RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=WE;BYSETPOS=2 I've seen that in data_process.js:3900, these two are explicitely excluded. Now, I'd like to ask whether anyone has started working on implementing support for these or if it is considered impossible/unhealthy? It is true that I haven't yet found a client (other than MS Outlook, of all the possible choices) that really supports this, not only displaying the event, but also being able to set this rule. It'd be enough for me to be able to display the event in a first step. Hi, When trying to save a URL in a task I get the JS error "TypeError: vCalendar.tplM.VTcontentline_URL[repeatHash] is undefined". This causes the task app to hang (running circle just goes on and on in task rectangle). Do others also hit this issue? (I'm running on top of Baïkal 0.2.7.) Visual todos

Hi, Congrats on the release of the new unified client! I was wondering if it would be possible at some point to have an option to make todos with due dates show up in the main calendar view, much the same way calendar events show up. The (only) way I keep track of either events or todos in any of my calendars is in terms of "how many squares away are they from the 'today' square in the month view" - completely different row, only a few squares, or the immediate next square? Numbers in a list don't tell me much, it's a constant mental effort to remember/add/substract the current date to find out how close I am (and a list of ten items spread over the next five months offers no immediate perspective of how far they are from each other or how they cluster) - which is why I like "marked squares" so much more; and thankfully that's exactly how calendar events work. Any chance of something like that for todos (on the SAME calendar view)...? Best regards, Attila

However, the principal url for Baïkal services selects either contacts or calendars: https://baikal.<domain>/cal.php/principals/ https://baikal.<domain>/card.php/principals/ Is there a way to load both? Hi, Given the discussion about showing todos in the calendar view (which I think is a nice idea), it may be useful to briefly describe how other calendar+task applications do this: * Lightning (Thunderbird): - if only begin date(time): shows todo on that date - if both begin and due date(time): shows todo on all days between both - if only due date(time): shows todo on that date * Horde: only shows todos with due date(time) in the calendar on the due date * KOrganizer (KDE): - if only begin date(time): shows todo on that date (in a different color) - if both begin and due date(time): shows todo on due date - if only due date(time): shows todo on that date From this I gather that at least people tend to agree that showing the todo on the due date (if any) is reasonable. (Or at least I agree...) I find the approach taken by Lightning for ranged todos unappealing. What seems more reasonable to me is to show the todos with a start date also on that start date and then (additionally?) let it ‘float’ as with the current day as suggested by Johan Vromans. Hi, In one of my workspaces I permanently have google-chrome (linux) with CalDAVmate. When I try to add an appointment by doubleclicking on the calendar, it can take up to 10 seconds before the popup appears. When I click on the [add entry] button it appears almost immediately. carddav - troubleshooting performance issues

Dear list, I am trying to give a small company access to their contact database via webinterface. Long story short, 'carddavmate' was the only webclient I could convince to even show the addressbook (even though its not parsing the 'n' attribute correctly, apparently because of too many trailing ';'-characters in the field). But here's the problem: its a tiny server and a rather large addressbook (~4000 contacts, 7,5MB XML data) and it takes a long time to initially load the resource - once processed it works fine. To load it in the first place I had to increase 'max_execution_time' in php.ini for DAViCal and 'timeOut' in carddavmate (both latest versions). But even then its fetching the complete addressbook which takes a long time and then jquery is parsing it, which takes another 30 seconds or so and meanwhile renders the complete browser useless (most of the time it apparently spends in the 'insertContact' function (can't reproduce this now but earlier I got 'vcardUnescapeValue' as the most time consuming function which makes more sense and seems to be the more accurate result)). Every other client I tried just timed out. The server has a 1,2GHz Dual Core ARM processor and 2GB of RAM. It takes approximately 40s to prepare the data - during this period the 'apache -k start' process that serves the REPORT request consumes one core's complete CPU on the server (no visible load from PostgreSQL..?) - then another 10s to send it and then another 30s for parsing it in the browser (see http://gorilla-computing.de/misc/carddavmate.png for a graphical impression). Is that to be expected? Its not that much data after all (even though its compressed and encrypted and these aren't literally strengths of the ARM). Or must it be, somehow, corrupted data that makes the queries / the parsing take so long? Its a rather ugly outlook import and a lot of invalid stuff has accumulated in several fields (especially the note field is a constant nightmare). On the client side: could it be the unnecessary semicolons and the note fields that keep 'vcardUnescapeValue' so terribly busy? And if yes, is there an easy way of changing all contacts directly via psql? Or maybe first: are there any drawbacks in modifying faulty fields directly in the database? And finally, I know caldavzap supports "interval synchronization" for querying only the relevant time frame of information from the server and indeed calendar sync works fine even though the calendar database is even bigger. Is there anything like that for carddav queries? Like, only import the first hundred contacts and when the user scrolls down or searches a contact parse the next fifty and so on? Hi, Longtime user of DAViCal here and have tried Caldavzap a few times, but never succeeded in installing / configuring it properly. At this time, I presume the problem lies with me and my setup, and I would very much like to get it working. Hi All, I just found the config.js setting "globalSubscribedCalendars". I understand this feature as an option to add external calendar files to every user who has an account and can login with CalDavZap. I tried this setting here: var globalSubscribedCalendars={hrefLabel: 'Subscribed', calendars: [{displayName: 'Subscribed Calendar', href: 'http://www.schulferien.org/iCal/Ferien/icals/Ferien_Bayern_2015.ics', userAuth: {userName: '', userPassword: ''}, ignoreAlarm: true, color: '#ff0000', typeList: ['vevent','vtodo']}]}; But nothing changed and this calendar does not show up. Did understand this feature wrong? If possible, also explain the delegation/shared calendar feature mentioned in the description of globalSubscribedCalendars. Thanks Konrad
